iProspect retains L’Oréal Australia + NZ’s SEO account following a tender involving 12 agencies

Following a tender between 12 agencies pitching for L’Oréal Australia & New Zealand’s SEO account, the incumbent, iProspect, has emerged the winner after a thorough and highly competitive process.
L’Oréal ANZ, a global beauty powerhouse is at the forefront of skincare, makeup and hair care in Australia, empowering people to take self-confidence into their own hands.
iProspect has handled L’Oréal ANZ for over four years and the retention is due to a strong history of delivery for the client, accompanied by a creative approach to SEO and a strong agency focus on sustainable practices in this space.
iProspect has one of the largest SEO teams in Australia and takes a unique approach creating a hybrid team that taps into iProspect’s media strategists.
Says Maureen Doris Cheung, client partner at iProspect: “Behind every data point is a unique human being, and it’s important to understand what they think, feel and do as well as what is affecting them.”
“That knowledge creates unique paths for SEO that allows us to create better content and ultimately superior brand authority for L’Oréal ANZ. iProspect are also one of the only agencies to hire real content writers and then train them in SEO, rather than hiring SEO experts and expecting them to craft a good story.”
During iProspect’s tenure with L’Oréal ANZ the company has enjoyed multiple successful website migrations and achieved the No. 1 status on their global website SEO leader board. Many initiatives for SEO that iProspect launched in Australia for L’Oréal ANZ are now taken as best practice globally.
Says Cristina Borsaru, head of search for L’Oreal ANZ: “I would like to congratulate iProspect for retaining the L’Oreal Australia and New Zealand SEO business after a very competitive tender process. They demonstrated the understanding of our business challenges and showcased clear ways to develop the brands to be future proof. TWELVE????????????
Dystopian. Twelve ‘unique’ approaches to backdooring a search engine with tips on how to kill your crow’s feet using voogoo magic.
What an absolute joke.
12 agencies on an unpaid pitch (correct me if I’m wrong please!) and they go with who they were with anyway! Plus rubbing it in with gushing over how ‘highly competitive’ it was, as if that’s anything to celebrate.
This, people, is why the industry is the way it is.
Shame on you L’Oreal ANZ
Worst client in the country as well.
