DDB’s Jenny Mak and R/GA’s Heather Sheen joins Copy School 2022 masterclass line-up
The final masterclass for Copy School 2022 has been filled with a Sydney double-act. Two for the price of one! Jenny Mak, DDB creative partner and Heather Sheen, R/GA head of planning will tutor on Empathy, Strategy and Persuasion.
(Mind you their price is a bargain $0. All industry tutors provide the precious time to prepare and present their masterclasses pro bono. That way to not-for-profit Copy School can offer nine masterclasses over five mornings in a pleasant venue with morning tea and a graduation lunch for just $495.)
Says John Bevins, Copy School co-chair along with Chris Taylor: “A long time ago copywriters became even more than great wordsmiths, they became empathists, strategists too; but then dark, digital forces began dubbing writers mere content providers. I know Jenny and Chris, DDB creative partner and R/GA head of planning, encourage copywriters to think strategically. I hope our tutor duo will share their priceless ‘how to do it’ secrets.”
