Collider signs Tig Terera for commercial representation

Collider has signed Zimbabwean born director and writer Tig Terera for commercial representation.

Terera tells diverse and contemporary Australian stories. He has been writing and directing his own projects for the past five years, earning high regard on an international level.

His short film Tinashe premiered at Sydney Film Festival, before heading to Berlinale where it played in competition, taking out a special mention and subsequently being picked up by cinephile streamer Mubi.

Terera is a dynamic storyteller who finds inspiration in the types of stories he wants to watch but cannot find. His work as a director is informed by his progression from photography, a love of mixed medium formats and a focus on meaningful content. His role as a writer has also been widely recognised and he is now in development of his first series for Magpie Pictures supported by SBS.
