Melbourne Business School to host ‘Christmas in July’ panel event with the Ad Council on July 14

Melbourne Business School and the Advertising Council of Australia is set to present ‘Christmas in July – How To Win at Christmas’ on Thursday 14th July.

‘Christmas in July’ is a rare peek under the hood of what happens in the lead-up to the most wonderful time in the marketing year. With a big chunk of retailer revenue coming in this five-week festive period, the Christmas Brief one of the most important, business-critical and creatively challenging of the year.

Says Katie Firth, panel member and managing partner of DDB Melbourne: “Christmas is not just about getting product under the tree, it’s also about the excitement, anticipation, and magic. We believe every brand has an opportunity to partake at Christmas. We see it as a chance to tap into the mood of the nation and drive an unfair share of growth.”

An evening of insight, creative inspiration and war stories from Christmas past, the line-up for the evening will be:

Psembi Kinstan – Executive Creative Director
Matt Pearce – Head of Planning

AJF
