M&C Saatchi Group’s Design business Re expands with new Melbourne office led by Shannon Bell
Design business Re, part of the M&C Saatchi Group, expands its Australian presence by unveiling a new offering in Melbourne, with a team of five led by Creative Director Shannon Bell.
Re, part of the M&C Saatchi Group, which has offices in Sydney, London, Shanghai and New York, has opened its Melbourne offering to better service a growing number of clients in the city.
This week, Re’s work for Melbourne-based Maurice Blackburn Lawyers launched. Led by Bell, the new brand identity and employer brand for the leading plaintiff law firm are the first in 12 years. Re’s Melbourne-based clients also include Medibank, Ethos Urban and Mr Yum.
Re Melbourne’s Creative Director Shannon Bell (pictured above, second from right), whose work has been awarded at Cannes, The One Show and D&AD, relocated from Re Sydney to focus on the development and growth of the new offering.
“We’ve been working with clients here for a while now, so it feels beyond time for Re to open a dedicated Melbourne office,” says Bell. “I think we offer something genuinely unique, a real focus on brand as a system of experiences, and a passion for making things that connect with people. I’m very excited to continue building our team here, as well as work more closely with our M&C Saatchi Group partners.”
Says Benjamin Harrison (above, far left), Managing Director, Re APAC: “Re Melbourne is a silver lining from the pandemic. We were able to hire the best design talent in Australia regardless of location, and so we brought together a team of exceptional brand, digital and verbal designers in Melbourne. With Shannon Bell at the helm, it’s a brilliant offer for clients seeking to scale.”
Bell’s transition to Melbourne follows eight years at Re Sydney, where she has led the creative team working across clients including Optus, Commonwealth Bank and Woolworths, with a particular focus on verbal identity projects.
