The In-House Agency Council launches the IHAC Awards presented by TikTok – entries close Jun 8

The In-House Agency Council has announced the launch of the inaugural IHAC Awards presented by TikTok.
Recognising in-house teams producing industry leading work, the IHAC Awards is the premier award show for Australian in-house and hybrid agencies and is now open to enter.
The aim of the IHAC Awards is to showcase and celebrate the great work coming out of the industry, to recognise the brilliant teams and to build a library of best practice case studies that IHAC members can share and learn from.
Says Chris Maxwell, IHAC chairman: “In-house and hybrid agencies are creating some world class work, but they often find it difficult to prioritise the time or resources required to enter awards shows.
“Our members see the value that an awards series can generate in showcasing their best work, raising the bar creatively and providing an opportunity to share best practices. Not to mention rewarding the teams and celebrating the great work that is being done in-house.
“We created the IHAC Awards specifically for in-house and hybrid teams. We removed the barriers to entry, we’ve made submissions really simple, we’re not asking for hype reels or bespoke presentations; we want to judge the work on its merits and its impact in the market. Importantly, thanks to TikTok, our presenting partner, we’ve waived entry fees in 2022 so it’s easy to enter and share the work you’re proud of.”
The award show will be held virtually and is open to all in-house or hybrid agencies in Australia.
The four IHAC Awards categories are:
– Best Creative Work
– Best Integrated Campaign
– Best Innovation
– In-House Agency of the Year
Commenting on the IHAC Awards, TikTok Global Business Solutions general manager, Brett Armstrong, says: “TikTok is a platform that inspires creativity and so it was a natural fit to join forces with the IHAC to celebrate the high calibre of creative work produced by IHAs in Australia.”
Entries for the IHAC Awards close 8th June 2022, with award winners announced in August. The IHAC Awards judging panel will be chaired by creative industry leader Nick Garrett, alongside a panel of senior leaders from the marketing and advertising industry.
