Domino’s has launched a new campaign via new agency start-up It’s Friday, to remind people that there are few things in life that come with certainty, but one of those things is getting a Domino’s pizza delivered Hot & Fresh, every time.
Everyone knows the feeling when they order take-out delivery but aren’t sure if it will arrive on time, or more importantly hot & fresh. Domino’s prides itself on delivering hot & fresh pizza for its customers, and this commitment is what inspired this work.
The new campaign launches in Australia and New Zealand across TV, YouTube, digital and social, featuring the Domino’s delivery experts, who always come through with the hot & fresh goods, in a heroic, comedic way.
Client – Domino’s Australia and NZ
Agency – It’s Friday
Production Company – Revolver
Director – Trevor Clarence

Have you seen the Dominos work coming out of the States?
I hope this campaigns out to more and more executions that up the ante every time – there’s a lot to play with here.
Saw it on telly the other night. Does the job. Well.
Solid start from this new shop.
let’s take something zeitgeist and try to relate it to our product. very poor.
Did somebody say KFC?
I don’t care
Looks great. Concept works.
Why PR this on a Wednesday?
This could be a really fun platform if they’re given the latitude to really stretch it.
QSR can be bloody hard. This is nice retail-like work. Shows good intent from Domino’s.
Can only imagine there is more of these in this campaign?
Ha! Nice work.
Very funny, very topical.
Love the Howdee Monkey NFT! I’d buy it.
I wanted to like this – but found it pretty confusing when I saw it on TV last night.
This commercial honestly couldn’t be any clearer.
Just giving my casual observation. I know this is the classic Geico rip-off ad. But they do it so much cleaner.
you should have worked the weekend because this is embarrassingly bad.
What a truly dark, dismal and digesting comment. I hope you have a good hard think about yourself over the weekend, champ. Drop your name while you’re at it.
Made me smile.
Well done Trevor!
At least it has a proposition, and it’s campaignable. With a little more imagination and humour it could be OK. Pizza has to be fresh and hot, so it’s a worthy strategy.
Good observation- core hot idea is great but what a terrible way to package it – are they targeting 60+ females? Embarrassing
Fresh and hot is the bare minimum you expect from a pizza, so it’s weird that they celebrate this in such a heroic way. Do they really want to be owners of the bare minimum?
I think these days Domino’s main war is versus Uber Eats, Door Dash, Menulog, etc.
And the food from those services is very often late and cold.
So possibly the point of difference/reason to choose Domino’s is precisely ‘Fresh and hot’.
If Domino’s can guarantee Fresh/Fast and Hot… then it will be a reason to switch/repurchase.
You’d think that would be the bare minimum, although I keep getting my food bloody cold from Uber Eats, Deliveroo, MenuLog etc.
Good to know someone can live up to the expected basics.
The watermark logo to help with branding says it all.
That’s just a youtube channel watermark you tool.
Nailed it @@Fresh & Hot – generally pizzas arrive pretty hot, but forget about burgers, most Asian dishes and curries. Luke warm at best. The creative strategy with this is very on point: remind everyone that pizzas are generally hot and fresh when they arrive but dominate that message by making it your brand platform. If I were Domino’s I’d be smashing the executions out quick smart like Uber Eats did with Tonight I’ll Be Eating to make Hot & Fresh untouchable by their competitors.
My experience is they are 10 percent hot and fresh the other 90 warm and just edible plus if you use their ap or website unless your using a deal code they charge a delivery fee for each pizza rather than per order that’s why better food and price is to be found on uber eats or pizza hutt

A bit worse than the previous work. Hope the weekend weather looks better.
Making retail fun is a challenge. Well done.
A can see a nice structure for many more. These will work.
“Its boring”
@An new one from the guys, Oh, look at you. A nice little cheap shot when no one is looking.
Says a so much about your character. You sound so miserable and bitter.
Well done It’s Friday. Looking forward to seeing more.
