Slag off Thinkerbell work all you like – but these folks know how to sell work.
Simply good
This is actually really good. As a boat owner I know this feeling. Fucking boat ramps…
Was that a award school brief coming to fruition?
Simple. Good.
I like it. But how many agencies do NRMA have on the go?
I kid you not – this is real.
Didn’t know it was a thing, but I like it.
Simplicity in a sea of noisy, cutty, idea-less work.
Well done on getting in early to comment on this one. Unfortunately the rest of the industry will probably see this as an odd extension of sloways. Even the signage is mimicking CHEPs great work.
Glad to see NRMA continuing to support a young Australian director with these recent campaigns… Pissed I’m not directing them, but proof is in the pudding. Stellar work and very well directed talented chick
Classy stuff
Whats with the grade pop at 35 seconds?
@Grade Pop it’s the reversing lights coming back on
Thanks for allowing us to turn this into another one shot commercial
Well executed piece of work.
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful craft. Probably one of the ads of the year. Forget about Slow ways this is an amazing ad
Definitely censoring a few comments
Without doubt this is one of the best films I’ve seen. Beautiful stories told with exceptional craft always do well on the international award circuit. Thinkerbell have nailed it with a one shot ad. Nothing like it out there.
This is lovely and the craft across all elements is exceptional
How insanely f**king refreshing to see a PR release that is a simple paragraph. I actually read it.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn
Shit this is actually beautiful. What an insight. Crafted within an inch. Well done Revolver and Thinkerbell.
Beautiful stunning well done congratulations. This is by far and away one of the most amazing pieces of film I’ve seen come out of Australia. Couldn’t fault it if I tried and tried
Last seen, can’t remember when.
Give me Sloways but tow a boat instead. That could make sense if reversing a trailer was always relaxing and slow but as a fisherman who’s on the open water once a week it’s not at all the case
Sloways for boats.
This is just plain dull. And the formulaic, ham fisted messaging up the back end? “Some things NRMA can’t help you with. For everything else there’s NRMA.” This will not rise above a cluttered sea of anything.
This but make it about tying your shoes.
Can’t just naively make any script ‘cinematic’ by having it as a completely pointless single take just so it can feel like an ‘anti-ad’.
Would have been better if the boat actually came off and we heard some swearing – rather than the widest, easiest boat ramp ever seen in Australia.
Very nice.
