UnLtd Ambassador for Good program opens applications for 2022 – Due Sunday Jan 9, 2022

The inaugural Ambassador for Good program by social purpose organisation UnLtd and powered by Yahoo has come to a close for 2021, with the call for applications being sent out for next year.

From over 80 applicants, 16 individuals from across the industry were selected into the launch initiative to use their skills and networks for good.

Over the past year the 2021 Ambassadors have worked closely with UnLtd’s charities, directly helping those that are changing young lives across Australia. The group has also volunteered, worked on impact projects, undergone an immersion experience with BackTrack, and taken part in industry mentoring.

Says Chris Freel, CEO at UnLtd: “The first Ambassadors for Good program has surpassed our expectations. Despite the hiccups of the past year, this resilient bunch have thrown everything into the experience and made a huge impact.

“We’re very excited to continue the Ambassador program in 2022 so we can help even more children at risk. This is your chance to give back and do something truly meaningful, whilst keeping your day job to pay the bills. We’re looking for passionate people who are able to rally others to get involved, and interested in sharing their knowledge and skills to help the community. If this sounds like you, please get in touch and apply so we can achieve even more good.”

UnLtd is now on the hunt for the next round of passionate individuals eager to use their skills for good. Applications for the 2022 program are open until Sunday January 9, 2022. To apply, please visit: https://forms.gle/9bEWCZWb7BSNfCXFA

Says Emmalee Fagerstrom, senior data strategist at Yahoo and an ambassador: “What an incredible experience to be a part of. Whilst there were many, my personal highlight was the BackTrack immersion trip where we got to see first hand those being impacted by the generosity of UnLtd and our industry. This program has left a lasting impression on me and given me the confidence to make a difference each and every day.”

The three major projects developed by the group have made a stamp on the industry:

  • The Social Conscience group began developing a long term growth plan for Mentally Healthy, inclusive of goals for the Mentally Healthy Minimum Standards

  • MOOD’s mental health awareness content series shone a light on mental health’s link to alcohol consumption, encouraging people to speak out and seek help.

  • Marketing campaign for Musicians Making a Difference led to the biggest MMAD day ever.
