Reflections Holiday Parks says ‘Holidays are calling’ in new campaign via Iris Sydney

Following a competitive pitch, Iris Sydney was awarded the Reflections Holiday Parks creative account in February 2021. Reflections Holiday Parks consists of 37 properties positioned on stunning Crown Land, located along the NSW coast, as well as some inland sites.

With all the stresses of the past 18 months, lockdowns, locked borders, one truth is clear – we all need a holiday.

The campaign centres around the idea that like so many things in life, what is clearly obvious to everyone around you, may be ambiguous to you. And it’s times like these that a gentle nudge isn’t going to work. Reflections Holiday Park believes what Aussies need is something loud, disruptive, and frankly, a little absurd to snap Aussies out of their rut. Aussies need a Conch Shell to remind them that ‘Holidays Are Calling’.

Says Miguel Garcia, general manager of Iris: “With the local holiday market being more competitive than ever, we knew we needed to do something bold to stand out, we’re grateful to Jo and the Reflections team for the trust they’ve put in us; the work reflects the fun we’ve had in creating the campaign.”

Says Jo Thomas, executive manager marketing at Reflections: “We knew from the start of the pitch that Iris had a great strategy and fantastic idea. We are thrilled to be working with Iris on the ‘Holidays Are Calling’ campaign as part of our ongoing commitment to growing the NSW domestic tourism market – a job that is more important than ever before!’

Love Media Group developed the media strategy for the campaign which will see the Holidays Are Calling message go out on TV, social, OOH, digital as well as a fun radio promotion with ARN including The Kyle and Jackie Show, Jonsey and Amanda and The 3pm Pick Up Show with Monty, Yumi and Kate.
