UnLtd announces 2021 Ambassadors for Good
UnLtd, the industry’s social purpose organisation, has announced its first ever Ambassadors for Good.
The program opened for applications earlier in the year with over 80 people across the industry applying to be part of the first intake of Ambassadors.
Says Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd: “We were overwhelmed by the interest and calibre of candidates from all corners of the industry. It’s inspiring to know that there are so many amazing people across our industry who want to make a difference. Choosing only 16 from over 80 incredible, passionate and talented individuals was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do.”
The 80 candidates were shortlisted to 26, who were then interviewed by UnLtd before narrowing it down to 16 ambassadors.
The 2021 UnLtd: Ambassadors for Good are: Abigail Dawson, Special Group; Danielle Taylor, The Trade Desk; Emmalee Fagerstrom, Verizon Media; Felicity Wainwright, JCDecaux; Gai Le Roy, IAB Australia; Harrison Smith, Initiative; Jade Harley, Kaimera; James Rose, MiQ; Jonathan Lowther, Starcom; Kimmie Neidhardt, Burd; Madeline Leigh, Mindshare; Matthew Vogts, Mediacom; Paul Everson, Paper + Spark; Paul Kent, Amazon; Rosy Blyther, OMD and Tania David, Finecast.
Says Nina Nyman, CMO of UnLtd: “We’re so excited to welcome our Ambassadors to the UnLtd family. We have found a great mix of people across all levels, backgrounds, skills and industries all of whom are incredibly passionate, smart and well-connected. We can’t wait to see the impact they will help us create next year.”
The year-long program will kick off in February 2021 and include a charity immersion, mentoring, events and special projects that will see the Ambassadors use their skills and influence for good to help children and young people at risk.
The program is kindly sponsored by Verizon Media, a long-term supporter of UnLtd.
Says Paul Sigaloff, managing director ANZ at Verizon Media: “We’re very proud to be furthering our support of UnLtd and sponsoring the new Ambassadors for Good program. Having worked closely with UnLtd for a number of years, we’ve seen first hand the incredible impact their work has on helping youth at risk. I’m excited to see how the ambassadors will further unite our industry for good and ramp up the power of UnLtd.”
