The Kitchen Creative Management celebrates 20 years with a new website and rebrand by design agency Christopher Doyle & Co

Creative management agency The Kitchen Creative Management turned 20 in March 2020; a moment which should have been cause for celebration but turned out to be inauspicious, as Sydney descended into lockdown. Now, 7 months later, they are honouring that missed occasion with a new website and rebrand.

Says Shannon Stoddart, founder and director of The Kitchen; ‘The past 7 months have, without a doubt, been the hardest in my working life. Work dried up – something that has never happened in the course of my two-decade long career running this business. On the upside, this gave us the opportunity to devote time and energy into our new website and rebrand. Now that the phones are ringing again, it feels timely to have a fresh image to approach this new era of image-making. ‘

The design, done by agency Christopher Doyle & Co, has brought The Kitchen into the present day with a website that is immersive, well curated and easy to navigate.

Christopher Doyle says of the collaboration; ‘ Shannon and her team approached us with a brief to create something fresh and contemporary, which would speak to all facets of The Kitchen’s business – not only as photographic agents but as a full-service production company with a strong digital offering. The monogram was paired with a set of contrasting typefaces to give the brand a cinematic, sophisticated tone. Dramatic scale shifts paired with striking imagery result in a bold and confident system, cementing The Kitchen’s reputation as one of Australia’s most respected creative agencies.’

The Kitchen represents well-known names in Australian photography and cinematography, including Juli Balla, Nick Bowers, Toby Burrows, Andrew Cowen, Stephen Dupont, Simon Lekias, Mattia Panunzio, Alexandrena Parker, Joel Pratley, Tim Swallow and Ed Triglone.
