ahm defeats the health insurance matrix in ‘keep it simple’ campaign via DDB launching tonight
CB Exclusive – Finding a complicated way to do something simple is something many of us take great pride in. Like selecting health cover. That’s the message from DDB Melbourne in their new ‘keep it simple’ campaign for ahm Health Insurance.
The campaign launches tonight with a TVC entitled ‘In the Matrix’, and features a woman using virtual reality, gesture recognition, and data nodes of “untold knowledge” to find the best deal. The TVC was directed by Tim Bullock via production company Scoundrel and is supported by digital and outdoor.
“The health insurance matrix is a confusing place where people have their souls stolen by robots,” says DDB Melbourne ECD Simon Bagnasco. “If you’re looking for the best value cover it’s easier to go direct to ahm.”
The campaign follows the agency’s highly successful ‘Disappearing Act’ TVCs, which have seen ahm become one of the boom insurers in the industry. And one of its most high profile advertisers.

Nice idea, well executed.
It’s not very interesting strategically for the category but maybe every insurer has to tell consumers they are simple/easy atleast once in their life.
