Vinomofo launches new socially driven, pay it forward campaign ‘Message in a Bottle’ via Sendle
To celebrate its fourth birthday, online wine retailer Vinomofo has launched ‘Message in a Bottle’, an Australia-wide initiative to share memories and spread the gift of wine through a socially driven, pay it forward campaign.
Vinomofo asked its social following to share their best wine memory for the chance to be one of the first recipients of a ‘Message in a Bottle’. They pick a wine, share their memory, decide who they want to send it to and Vinomofo do the rest.
The wine is delivered in a unique, hand-type designed wooden box, along with a moleskin notebook and a message by the sender as to why this wine is special to them. Once the recipient receives the bottle, it will be his/her turn to choose a bottle of their own and a memory to share with the next person – carrying out the ‘paying it forward’ idea.
Vinomofo chose to partner with the Australian parcel delivery startup Sendle to get the campaign off the ground and track the wines journey across the country.
