Defence Housing Australia turns to television for the first time in a campaign via McCann Sydney
Defence Housing Australia (DHA) via McCann Sydney, is inviting Australians to look forward in an integrated campaign highlighting the security and guaranteed rental return of investing in DHA property.
The campaign and new positioning — “Look forward” — aims to raise awareness of DHA as national property developer. DHA builds innovative residential communities and provides housing for members of the Australian Defence Force.
The campaign further aims to communicate that DHA offers a premium property investment solution that is accessible, safe and easy to manage for all types of investors. It outlines the long-term benefits of investing in DHA-managed properties, including guaranteed rental income, annual rental reviews, leases up to 12 years, and repairs and maintenance on the property.
Says Dejan Rasic, executive creative director, McCann Sydney: “DHA is a really different and reliable way to invest in property and it’s been exciting to learn all about it and bring this work to life. We’ve partnered with some talented people in film and photography to push the level of craft across the entire campaign.”
Says Tero Blinnikka, DHA head of marketing communication: “We are using TV — a split-screen filming technique — for the first time with this campaign. There is a lot of synergy with this campaign and the work we are doing across our business. We’re all about looking forward – looking at ways we can grow our business, offer innovative housing solutions, and continue to develop strong partnerships with our tenants, investors and business stakeholders.”
In addition to TV and cinema, the campaign includes digital, social, content marketing, out-of-home and press.
This is the first work for DHA by McCann, following the agency winning the account in 2014.
