Merivale asks what’s your guilty pleasure? in a new film shot by //13&CO director Pete Moore
Recently live are the latest content films from //13&CO director Pete Moore for Merivale’s ‘March into Merivale Month’ campaign.
In collaboration with the Merivale creative team Moore conceptualised this visually stunning and at times cheeky film, that celebrates all things indulgent and showcases Merivale’s star chefs and CEO Justin Hemmes in a fun, light-hearted way.
Says Moore: “With the creative brief of that poppy world and the guilty pleasures theme combined with a very forward-thinking client. It was an opportunity to make something weird and different. I had this idea of an inquisitive french girl asking questions about what your guilty pleasure is and all the shot ideas and the rest went from there.”
The campaign features 75 and 30 Sec content films, pre-rolls, Instagram ads and photographic stills that Pete also shot for use in their print communications.

Beautiful work, it inspires me a lot. Stunning visual narrative told with two very different styles. Perfect.Well done Moore and 13&Co.
Pete Moore is a gun! Sweet VO.
I’m quite partial to being imprisoned in the basement and bashed by the bouncers at The Ivy.
Can’t wait to see the outrage from mumbrella moral guardians after they’ve seen this.
Who wrote those first two comments?
You’re joking right? Maybe I’m missing your sarcasm?
Visual narrative? How?
Two different styles? How?
Moral outrage? Over what? Why?
Random images, low contrast colour grades and uninspired design based shots on pastel backgrounds makes for a lot of out dated and try hard bullshit.
Even when this stuff was trending many, many light years ago… it was still bullshit and this is a very poor imitated version of it.
‘Wow’ alright. Definitely inspirational stuff. Haha.
Oh LOL, it must be so tiring being ‘that guy’.
