Tourism NZ unveils second + third instalments in ‘Inspired by Wellington’ work via Whybins Sydney
Tourism New Zealand in partnership with Positively Wellington Tourism and Destination Marlborough, has released the second and third installments of its three-part joint venture campaign ‘Inspired by Wellington’ via Whybin\TBWA Sydney and Eleven.
Part one of the campaign saw Messina founder Nick Palumbo descend on Wellington for inspiration to create a limited edition ‘Sweet as’ flavour.
In part two, guitar maker Thomas Langford of Langford Guitars recently made the quick trip to creative and cultural capital Wellington, visiting many people and places in the Wellington region. Using this journey and stories from locals as a muse for his next custom creation, Langford crafted a unique guitar gifted to his musician friend Julia Stone.
The third and final video documents designers, We Are Handsome’s trip across the Tasman.
The duo recently visited Wellington and Marlborough as inspiration for their latest accessory, The Beacon limited edition scarf.
Places visited include Wellington’s oldest and most vibrant food market; Harbourside Market, wine tasting at Auntsfield Estate in Marlborough, and finally the Marlborough Sounds by luxury launch.
The Beacon scarf will add to We Are Handsome’s summer 2015/2016 collection, which is loved by celebrities Beyoncé, Diane Kruger and Rihanna. It will be available to buy online via the We Are Handsome website until sold out.
