Sassy customers star in three new ‘I got it at Amart’ television spots via Y&R Brisbane
Following last month’s new brand platform launch campaign for Amart Furniture, Y&R Brisbane* has released three new executions for the furniture, outdoor and bedding superstore.
The new spots in the ‘I got it at Amart’ campaign feature a mic-dropping mum with a lip-synching bub, an embarrassing dad and an unlikely pair of Riverdancers showing off their excitement at their new furniture in unexpected ways.
Says Brendan Greaney, executive creative director Y&R Brisbane: “The pride you feel when you score a great deal on quality furniture expresses itself in many ways.
“Like when you love your new leather couch so much, you spontaneously start Riverdancing. It’s a fertile platform we can continue to explore and evolve.”
The new executions in Amart’s brand and retail campaign recently launched, are rolling out across television, radio, out of home, digital and in-store experience. Further executions are planned for the coming weeks and months as Amart continues its national expansion.

YA FWWWUUUUCKING GET IN THERE PARKO YOU MAD DOG.
Y I K E S
And, you can get airtasker to put together your flatpack!
This is worse quality than AMart’s furniture
Can we stop making ads with people dancing. Enough already. Start using your brains people. This is nothing but laziness.
This is light hearted and fun. I enjoyed it.
These make me properly laugh, well-done guys. Casting on point.
Brilliant stuff. That pep talk spot had me seriously lol’ing. Great work!
Joyful memorable advertising that also sells the hell out of the product. Love this work.
Simple and a good laugh. Nice one Parko!
Nice work you lot. Great talent. Clever Direction and with a price in it.
these are the worst ads I’ve seen all year
you haven’t seen Clemenger Brisbane’s Weiss ad then have you? That makes these look like D&AD Graphite Titanium Grand Prix Lions
Tip for the Y & R Brisbane team. Make your blog comments a bit less obvious.
Suits.
surely not the the ol ‘i got so excited i did something silly’ strategy again? FFS!
Those airtasker ads were very well done.
Dad snort. Piss funny.
Amart shoppers will like em. And that’s the point I would wager.
As a paddy the cultural appropriation jarred somewhat…nah. Cracked me up.
Nice casting Leftley
Not funny. It’s just shit. Very uninsightful. No wonder the consultants are giving us a good rogering,
This series made me cringe so hard. The tragic attempt to be funny, just managed to cheapen the brand and distract from the furniture entirely. Feels like someone really missed the mark on this one!
When tacky and uncool comes across as tacky and uncool
Great work Y&R!!! Spot on.
Gets your attention, tick. Makes you smile, tick. Likely to remember, tick. Nice work.
Utter, utter shit. Second hand embarassment doesn’t begin to cover it
Probably more entertaining than whatever your agency does.
This is complete cringe
That woman 😩
SO painful …..
