The Comms Council launches Effies Exposed national seminar series – kicks off Apr 9 in NSW
The Communications Council’s national seminar series, Effies Exposed, is set to kick off in NSW on 9th April before touring through VIC, WA, SA and QLD.
An initiative by the Account Planning Group (APG) and The Account Management Group (AMG), this seminar is designed to equip account management and planning professionals with a deeper understanding of the drivers of effectiveness and how they can maximise business results via marketing communications.
An analysis of more than 150 winning and finalist Effie Awards case studies, Effies Exposed unveils the key differences between a winning and a finalist award paper.
Says Margaret Zabel, CEO of The Communications Council: “Today’s clients are not just looking to agencies for an interesting idea, but for real business solutions. There has never been so much focus on effectiveness and accountability. The Effie case studies are a valuable source of insight and inspiration – these are the campaigns that have proven to deliver. ”
Using the data, the research digs deeper to understand what drove the leap from good to great results, establishing five key elements of highly effective advertising. Local case studies are included in the analysis, with research also drawn from international Effie programs.
The event will be presented by:
• Jon Bradshaw, Droga5 (presenting NSW, Vic)
• Hannah McHard, Millward Brown (presenting NSW, Vic)
• Margaret Zabel, The Communications Council (presenting SA, WA)
• Jon McKie, 303Lowe (presenting NSW)
• Paul Rees-Jones, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne (presenting Vic)
• Simon McCrudden, BMF (presenting Vic)
The seminar is included as part of APG or AMG membership. If your agency is part of The Communications Council, membership to APG or AMG is available to you at no additional fee, though attendees must still register (for APG or AMG) before booking tickets via the links below.
Non-members may attend this individual event by purchasing tickets via the links below. Alternatively, Non-Comms Council members can attend APG and AMG events throughout the year by joining either group for $330. To register complete the membership application here.
This is an important professional development seminar for anyone interested in developing critical skills in marketing effectiveness or preparing an effectiveness case study.
