Production Service Network presents – ‘Global Storytelling with Local Vision’ at AdFest 2014
In a fractured media landscape, a strong and capable network of local production partners is a critical resource. Agencies, production companies, and directors all need local input to not only find the right location for their shoot, but to optimize the return on their creative and cash investment.
Cristina Mateo-Yanguas, Director of Administration and Michael Moffett, Director of Production at Production Service Network, are travelling to Thailand in March to share insider knowledge from commercial productions that faced and successfully overcame such challenges.
“So many of today’s global campaigns require local touchstones of familiarity for consumers. There are also many national campaigns that call for fresh and value-adding contributions beyond the borders of the consumers’ country,” says Mateo-Yanguas.
According to Moffett, “The importance of collaboration and partnerships between clients, strategists, creatives, and production capability are vital in the success and delivery of any marketing project. Parameters can be imposing, and so can budgets.”
Mateo-Yanguas and Moffett will reference some of the many shoots they and their partners in Production Service Network have worked on across Europe, from Alpine heights of Austria to the emblematic streets of London, Paris and Rome to the exotic bazaars of Turkey and Morocco.
For more than a decade the couple’s production service company, Camino Media, played host to creatives from around the world shooting film and photo projects in Spain and Portugal. They’ve been the silent, local partners contributing toward the success of Asia-Pacific campaigns for clients like Canon, Suzuki, Titan, Toyota, Visa and Yamaha.
More recently, they have been involved in preparing and executing shoots in other parts of Europe, when they realised a transparent, one-stop-shop for shooting across Europe was sorely needed.
Now at the helm of Production Service Network (PSN), which is a newly-formed group of like-minded production partners in Europe and beyond, Mateo-Yanguas and Moffett will return to AdFest once again this year. Their Speaker Session, ‘Global Storytelling with Local Vision’, takes place on Thursday 6th March at 2:30pm.
AdFest 2014 runs for three days from 6th March – 8th March at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, Thailand.
