72andSunny hires Creative Duo Hayley Noble and Madi Chan + creative director V. Wassim Kanaan

72andSunny has expanded its creative team with the appointment of creative duo Hayley Noble and Madi Chan, and creative director V. Wassim Kanaan.

 

The trio will work across the agency’s portfolio of clients, including Google, RealEstate.com.au, AFL, Cadillac and Deputy, reporting to CCO Wez Hawes.

Noble & Chan, join the agency after a year at Havas Host, where they worked on various campaigns for brands including Reckitt Benckiser, IKEA, Uber, Fiji Airways, Fiji Tourism, Anytime Fitness and American Express. Copywriter Noble, was featured in The New York Times’ ‘Tiny Love Stories: True Tales of Love in 100 Words or Less’, an illustrated collection of 175 mini love stories from the New York Times’ Tiny Love Stories column, whilst Art Director Chan is a D&AD New Blood Award Yellow Pencil winner and in 2021 was named DIA’s Australian Visual Communication Design Graduate of the Year.

Kanaan joins from Dentsu Creative, where he spent more than two and a half years. Prior to that, he spent two years at Innocean joining in late 2020 and before that he held senior creative roles at The Monkeys, Saatchi & Saatchi, and J. Walter Thompson, and also tutored at Miami Ad School Sydney. His portfolio includes work for brands such as Optus, H&R Block, Toyota, Telstra, Cadbury, and NRMA. In 2017, he was named one of D&AD’s Top Creatives and created one of the year’s top 10 most awarded campaigns, according to the Gunn Report.

The hires follow a string of recent business wins for the agency.
