47 Australian entries make it through to finalist stage of The One Show 2025 led by Ogilvy, Bear Meets Eagle On Fire with +61, CHEP and Droga5

The One Club for Creativity has tonight announced the entries from 49 countries that are finalists for The One Show 2025, including 47 from Australia — the most in APAC — and 16 from New Zealand.

 

Ogilvy Sydney has scored the most finalists across APAC with 14 including seven for Bristol Myers Squibb and La Roche Posay “The Spot”, five for Kentucky Fried Chicken “Kentucky Fly Chicken”, and two for Dove “10 vs 10”.

Bear Meets Eagle On Fire with +61, has scored six finalists for Telstra’s “Better on a Better Mobile Network”.

CHEP Network has picked up five finalists, all on behalf of Samsung Australia including three for “Packed Full Of History” and two for “Clash of Commuters”.  

Droga5 Australia has scored four finalists for Meat & Livestock Australia “The Comments Section”.  

Others from Australia with The One Show 2025 finalists entries are Sonar Music Sydney and TBWA\Sydney with two finalists apiece, whilst 36 Months/Supermassive, TBWA\Melbourne, The Sweetshop and Thinkerbell have all scored one finalist apiece.

Colenso BBDO Auckland leads New Zealand with 10 finalists in The One Show 2025. The agency has secured eight for Mars NZ “Adoptable. By PEDIGREE.”, and two for Spark New Zealand “Killabyte”.

Special has scored four finalists for DB Breweries “Cold Call Back Service”.

FCB New Zealand has scored a finalist for Green Cross Health “Awkboards” and Motion Sickness has scored a finalist for The New Zealand Herpes Foundation “The Best Place In The World To Have Herpes”.

Globally, FCB New York has the most One Show 2025 finalists with 85, including 53 for Spotify “Spreadbeats”, and 31 for “Lap of Legends” on behalf of AB InBev, Michelob ULTRA.  “Spreadbeats” is also the entry with the most finalists spots.

Other top finalists are Klick Health Toronto and Serviceplan Germany Munich with 49 each, Area 23 New York with 46, Apple Cupertino with 40, DM9 Saõ Paulo with 37, and Rethink Canada with 32.

This year’s esteemed One Show global jury selected a total of 1,659 finalists from 49 countries.  The complete searchable list of finalists for The One Show 2025 is available here.

All finalists will win Gold, Silver, or Bronze Pencils or Merits, to be announced during Creative Week 2025 on May 15, and celebrated at The One Show 2025 awards ceremony on May 16 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, where special awards such as Best of Show, Best of Disciplines, Agency of the Year, and more will be revealed.
