3P Studio Group promotes Amanda Sharp to Head of Production

3P Studio Group has announced the promotion of Amanda Sharp to the role of Head of Production.

It’s been a significant year for the group, which includes hybrid content company 3P Studio, post-production powerhouse Monarx & boutique visual-effects, animation and digital studio DoublePlusGood.

Celebrating a record nine nominations across the group at the recent Brisbane Advertising and Design Club (BADC) Awards, the group took home five trophies for its work across editorial, sound design & animation and content.

After holding previous positions client side in brand management, and cutting her teeth at studios such as Alt.vfx and later The Post Lounge, Sharp brings to the group a wealth of experience and perspective to the role. With unrivalled work ethic and passion for the studio, it comes to no surprise to anyone around her that she will be stepping up and into her new role.

Says Haley McDonald, CEO: “It is an absolute pleasure to have Amanda in our studio. Her experience across multiple areas within industry and her deep understanding of client service make her a great asset to our team and we are very excited to see her take a leading role in the studios future in her new position as Head of Production.”

Says Caleb De Leon, partner and creative director: “Sharpy is one of those one-in-a-million people who is the trifecta of talented, dedicated and extremely likeable. We’ve built a really strong producing team and I can’t think of anyone better to play the role of captain.”

Adds Sharp: “After years of collaborating with 3P, I’m thrilled to now be part of the team as Head of Production. I look forward to leveraging my knowledge of both client and supplier perspectives to build stronger partnerships, drive efficiency, and deliver outstanding results.”

In addition to Sharp’s promotion, the studio group also welcomes back Caroline Renshaw as senior producer, who’s resume includes agencies HERO, BCM and decorated visual-effects and animation studio, Plastic Wax.

Rounding out the producing team is Sarah Maerz who joined earlier in the year from the award-winning UK post-production studio, Absolute Post and finally Emma Martindale who was most recently a part of the cohort for the 2024 Assisterhood program.

Says McDonald: “At 3P Studio, we’re actively challenging the gender gap by fostering a balanced workforce with women proudly making up 50% of our team. We are very passionate about pushing female representation in  production roles in our group, and are committed to breaking stereotypes and encouraging gender diversity in artist roles.”
