Win in New York for 8com’s Dan Reisinger and DDB’s Dantie Van Der Merwe and David Fraser for ‘Status Update – A Facebook Fairytale’ film

image.jpgPart way through the the international festival circuit, ‘Status Update – A Facebook Fairytale’ has been winning fans in the US, taking out the Special Jury Prize at the Friars Club Comedy Festival in New York. The film was a finalist in the San Jose Short Film Festival, and featured on the opening night of LA Comedy Festival.

The film, directed by 8com’s Dan Reisinger and written by DDB’s Dantie Van Der Merwe and David Fraser is due to screen in Australia, as part of the Flicker Fest 2013 selection, with further festival announcements to come.

‘Status Update’ is the second Project of Adam Dunn (pictured) and Dan Reisinger who met filming the ‘Sponsor the Whitehouse’ campaign that won gongs all over the world including 5 Cannes Lions and inclusion in the D&AD book.
