Thinkerbell + Looking Glass Pictures’ Gatwick film to screen at St Kilda Short Film Festival

Late last year Thinkerbell teamed up with Looking Glass Pictures to document the last days of the residents of The Gatwick hostel as it was shut down to make way for reality tv juggernaut The Block.

This documentary covers the closing the Gatwick, the hysteria surrounding the opening of the ‘The Block’ apartments, and the resident’s stories of displacement and survival.

The movie was shown on the walls of The Gatwick the day after the final episode of the Block. The documentary has been selected to screen at St Kilda Short Film Festival and this is its first official screening since then.
