The Work 2020 Contenders: Thinkerbell

| | No Comments

With Cannes Lions and LIA postponed until 2021, Campaign Brief is still out to recognise and showcase the great work that is being produced in the region. So we are introducing The Work 2020 Contenders.

Vegemite: The Mitey Battle
Thinkerbell
After we heard that Marmite were handing out free jars at The Ashes to try to prove it tastes better than Vegemite, we decided to set them straight. We fired back with this full page ad which ran in the UK’s Daily Mirror and successfully got the internet and media a buzz with Aussie pride for our much loved spread.

Furphy: Unbelievable
Thinkerbell
Furphy [fur-fee] Noun. Australian: A rumour or tall tale, often exaggerated and shared… also a refreshing beer. The Unbelievable platform celebrates the great Australian pastime of telling a tall tale (a furphy) over a beer (a Furphy). The film directed by Adam Stevens is the first for the Geelong brewed beer and tells the story of the silver-tongued and the golden-booted in an epic tale of trial and triumph.

Accor: Wintervention
Thinkerbell
No matter where you live, winter sucks. It’s cold, it’s rainy, and worst of all life slows down around you as people go into hibernation. To help people around Australia get out of their slump we showed them just how amazing a Winter getaway could be. We gave Australia’s coldest town, Waratah, Tasmania, a Wintervention. Live on breakfast TV.

NRMA Insurance: Traditional Lands
Thinkerbell
Partnering with local artists and utilising NRMA Insurance road safety billboards to help increase awareness of the traditional lands of First Nations people from three countries around NSW and reflect IAG’s commitment to First Nations communities and the Reconciliation movement in Australia.
