Taxi Film Production welcomes director Siobhan Mulready to the family with FijiKava

Taxi Film Production is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the family, director Siobhan Mulready. Kicking things off with an uplifting campaign for FijiKava, self-professed acting nerd Mulready brings a rare consideration to the way she approaches performance driven films (that’s her jam).

Says Mulready: “It’s all about finding the stories within the script – that’s what made FijiKava such a rewarding job to work on. We worked with a fabulous cast that were able to create the chemistry we needed to take the audience on a journey. Then it was about curating those tiny but powerful moments to show how the product changes people.

“As well, the agency and client were fantastic to work with. They were so collaborative and really gave us permission to explore the script. It was such a bold job and a great shoot.”

With a background in theatre, production design, photography, and writing, Mulready brings a diverse wealth of technical knowledge and a visually inventive style that is immediately identifiable in her work. If we had to define what makes Siobhan’s style special we’d say she brings a certain sensitivity, a killer work ethic, and a tailored approach to each brief. No two jobs are the same, but they always pack a punch. She’s got a knack for making the everyday feel cinematic while keeping things emotionally grounded and relatable.

Really, she just loves making films that make people feel stuff.

Says Mulready: “I’m excited to be jumping onboard with Taxi. They’re a passionate, hardworking team who’ve given me so much support in putting my most creative foot forward.”

(Taxi made her say that).

For Taxi MD/EP Andrew Wareham it was an absolute no-brainer.

Says Wareham: “We’ve known Siobhan for a couple of years now, so when we started chatting to her about coming on board, I couldn’t have been happier. We’re all about finding directors who’ve got vision and a story to tell, Siobhan certainly fits the bill there.”

You’ll normally find Mulready deep in development for her short and long form drama projects, theatre shows or any number of other creative projects so if you want to catch up for a chat, cup of tea or a vino or two, please get in touch through Taxi Film Production.
