Meerkats has launched a new digital campaign to highlight the life-saving GPS feature built into the St John First Responder app. Rather than calling 000 on your phone in an emergency, the free St John First Responder App allows anyone to send their exact locations coordinates to the emergency operator as they make the call – which will help callers who are panicked, unsure of their address, or in remote locations.
Says Jeff Healy, executive marketing manager for St John WA: “This technology will save vital seconds in every callout, and has the potential to literally mean the difference between life and death. It is vitally important that we get this app onto as many phones as possible in WA, which will make sure that life goes on for many Western Australians.”
The campaign is the latest in a series of award-winning work for St John WA from Meerkats, including the recent Tiny Tots Radio Campaign for St John First Aid, First Aid Essentials Radio Campaign for St John and the PADC Best of Show-winning Life Goes On brand TVC.
