Expanding customer experience agency Six Black Pens (SBP) has bolstered its senior team with two new hires. Business director Helen Hollins (left) now provides a full-time Victorian presence for SBP’s growing Melbourne client base while strategy director Emma Burn (right) has moved from Hulsbosch to become the agency’s new head of strategy.

As head of strategy, Burn will be working across both existing and new business, applying behavioural economic and statistical insights to help craft compelling communication and brand strategies. She will add a greater understanding of people and the contexts in which they operate to create customer relationship cut-through.

Hollins’ managerial experience on both the client and agency side will help develop and expand SBP’s relationship with its growing list of Melbourne-based clients.

SBP co-founder and director, strategy and editorial Kimberley Gaskin says consolidating SBP’s Melbourne presence and providing a dedicated strategy specialist coincides with a period of intense growth for the agency: “Our policy of bringing in senior people with a track record of delivering for clients continues with Emma and Helen. We’re looking forward to expanding and deepening our service offering with them onboard.”
