Showpony Adelaide promotes Abby Moulton to the role of associate creative director

Having stumbled into Showpony over five years ago as a disenchanted journalist looking for greener pastures, Abby Moulton has been promoted to associate creative director of the agency’s Adelaide office.

Says Parris Mesidis, group creative director, Showpony: “We’ve always been an agency that has enjoyed nurturing talent from the ground up and finding people in unexpected quarters. We take huge joy and pride in watching a person flourish. Abby is the perfect example of that.”

Despite initially thinking her role as copywriter involved putting little © marks on things, Moulton quickly established herself as a formidable creative thinker, developing award-winning campaigns across a suite of clients, including Flinders University, SA Health, Drug and Alcohol Services SA, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, TAFE SA and more.

Says Rory Kennett-Lister, creative director, Showpony Adelaide: “I couldn’t think of a person better suited to this position. As well as being a talented conceptual creative, Abby is a natural leader and strategic thinker. Plus, she’s calm, considered, and cares for the people she works with.”

Moulton brings real ambition and excitement to the role, which will see her continuing to work across Showpony’s suite of clients.

Says Moulton: “I’m super excited to be stepping into this new role. I can’t wait to do some great work with some talented people… and Rory.”

Says Kennett-Lister: “This is the type of impunity I expect from a CD. She’ll go far.”
