Schreiber and Martin promoted to creative director roles at Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne
Julian Schreiber (near left) and Tom Martin (far left) have been promoted to creative directors of Clemenger BBDO
Melbourne. The team were responsible for, amongst many other things, Four’N’Twenty’s “Magic Salad Plate” and Guide Dog’s “Support Scent”, both campaigns netting a bunch of international award metal.
Says Clemenger BBDO executive creative director, Ant Keogh: “For some time, Tom and Julian have taken on a leadership role at Clemenger. Other creatives naturally seek their guidance, so it’s high time we made it official. Also, the structure here affords that they’ll still have time to create work of their own, and given their work is consistently genius, that’s a great thing all round.”

they look thrilled about it!
Congrats dudes. Couldn’t happen to nicer blokes. Unless Nelson Mandela got into advertising and got promoted to CD of Clemenger.
Are they at the super fun happy disco party?
Congratulations Julian well deserved
C O N G R A T S ! ! ! 🙂
They’ve just pissed their pants, 11:32.
Seems like everyone at Clemenger is either a creative director, an executive creative director or a James.
Who farted?
They look ill. Hope everything is ok?
Is there anyone at Clemenger who is not a CD?
It devalues the title. Once it meant you were in charge!
Are these the last 2 guys there to be made CD?
I went in there to see a friend a few weeks ago, welked out a CD.
Congrats, I guess.
Looks like ‘Leadership’ is the most over-used word of 2010. Apart from ‘Whatever’.
Hey Thommy!!! & Jules, top work.
Any Indians left at Clems?
In the old days, when someone was a bit rocky you took them to lunch to put them in a happy place.
Now you have to give them a title.
And offer some un-franked Clemenger shares.
Both work well and cost nothing!
Good result.
Clems Melb is a big agency with a lot of clients. Another CD team will only make the work better. And this is a good way to keep great talent.
