Renault Australia launches The Reimagined Koleos SUV with new campaign via Big Red
Hot on the ‘wheels’ of the launch of the All-New Kadjar SUV, Renault Australia has launched The Reimagined Koleos SUV, continuing the highly successful ‘Make The Move’ platform for Renault Australia developed by Big Red.
The film features a gorgeous, real family enjoying a day out at the So Frenchy So Chic festival. It shows the bonds and emotional connections between the family, juxtaposed with the Koleos.
Says Terri Golder, GM marketing communications, Renault Australia: “We’re very excited to launch The Reimagined Koleos, our flagship SUV in the Renault range in Australia.”
The campaign brings to life the distinctive European design of the Koleos, the perfect vehicle for families who aspire to living with a spirit of joie de vivre.
Says Golder: “This campaign is designed to appeal to families who appreciate unique design and style but also enjoy exploring in comfort, without compromising practicality, which the Koleos delivers on, amongst many other features.”
The film was directed by Jessie Oldfield and Adam Murfet of CKOL with still photography by Andrew Vukosav. OOH, shot by Isamu Sawa and post by DBG Digital, has an alluring neon treatment that highlights the Koleos’ vivid design and colour options.
The creative launches in mid-January and will appear across screens (OTV, social, cinema), premium OOH and digital channels.

Take the weather day next time and avoid having to use instagrams sun flare filter.
Car drives on road. End story.
Zero creative. Lazy. Boring. Bad.
Car ads in Australia are cringe.
Such a missed opportunity.
What is up with the rear shot of the car at 10 seconds, traveling up the dust road and it freezes for the last few frames of the shot!
At 23 seconds, the editor should’ve chosen a better shot of the car that needs less flame online stabilization.
The motion blur on a rock solid drone shot is a rookie mistake and lazy flame work.
“Fix it in post” or “f*#k it in post”?
Super cool track! Love these Renault ads. Keep them up guys x
I liked this so much that I went out and bought 5 of these. All in beige.
We open on a car.
It drives around.
Renault Logo.
Well, I see there’s no need for me to comment.
And yet you did
Cool track. Standard cinematography. Not sure about the driving/lifestyle montage.
Um…. the length of the ad is nice?
Ad break wallpaper with an agonising portrayal of the target market. You can see the research company giving the agency a 4 hour presso on their illuminating new insights on this market. ‘They’re parents now but they haven’t opted for a boring suburban life like their parents. They still do cool things like go to festivals but they take their kids and they need a car that expresses this independent spirit…. The ad would have been written by the 4th slide of the powerpoint presso.
Good song though.
We see the car drive around with a family?
Ironic the ad is called ‘reimagined’ when it’s the definition of unimaginative.
Thank you for your service
