Corner (left), who rose to the role of National Sales Manager at The West, told Campaign Brief that “the timing was right” for him to leave the paper and seek out new opportunities.

“I have a couple of irons in the fire and I’m looking forward to see what the next few weeks brings in terms of future opportunities,” said Corner.

“My time at The West has been a blast. There’s some great people here and my decision to leave is very amicable. The industry is going through huge change at the moment and I’m looking forward to this next step in my career.”

For twenty five years, Corner has worked tirelessly to promote The West Australian as a creative opportunity as well as an effective media buy. Corner’s contribution to the Perth industry has been recognised twice already with his life membership award from the Perth Advertising & Design Club and in 2006 when he was named WA Advertising Person of the Year at the Campaign Brief WA Awards/Oasis Ball.
