Naked Sydney and Deloitte Australia make the cut at shortlist stage of Spikes Innovation category

Spikes Asia has announced the Innovation shortlist for the prestigious Spikes Awards 2019. Naked Sydney has been shortlisted for RMIT ‘Sans Forgetica‘ and Deloitte Australia has been shortlisted for Deloitte ‘H2.0‘.

Six pieces of shortlisted work were selected by the Spikes Innovation jury from a total of 28 entries received. Shortlisted entrants hail from countries across APAC, including Australia, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand.

The Innovation Spikes is the region’s leading Award, honouring and celebrating ground-breaking innovation and technological solutions that enable organisations to communicate with audiences in innovative and creative ways. On Thursday 26 September, the shortlisted entrants will present and showcase their ideas live to the Innovation jury and attendees at this year’s Spikes Asia Festival, taking place from 25-27 September at Suntec, Singapore.

Entrants will have the chance to present their work to the jury who can then ask questions and probe the work, led by Innovation Jury President, Tara McKenty, Creative Lead, Google Brand Studio APAC. Following the presentations and questions, the jury will reconvene to discuss, debate and award the work they consider to be worthy of a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Grand Prix award. The winners will then be announced at the Spikes Asia Awards Show on Friday 27 September.

Says Joe Pullos, festival director, Spikes Asia: “The Innovation Spikes live judging format provides entrants the opportunity to explain the background and insight to the campaign and what really makes it stands out from the rest to set the creative benchmark for the Asia Pacific region. I’d like to extend my thanks to our innovation jury for their hard work in selecting such an impressive shortlist to kick-off the Spikes Asia awards 2019.”
