Mint Films strengthens team with Georgia Moraitis named as new business manager

Sydney production company Mint Films has announced that they have appointed Georgia Moraitis as its new business manager.

Says Abby Dorrian, head of business, Mint Films: “The need for a new business role at production houses in Australia has been evident for a while now, even more so as our industry continues to evolve seeking more affordable high quality, integrated production. Georgia has the perfect combination of skills to create and foster relationships while representing our diverse roster at MINT and the freelancers we work with. She’s a complete delight and our clients, both existing and new are in very safe hands.”

Georgia’s experience working for Mindshare and Banter, part of The Haus group means she has a strong knowledge of the industry and knows what creatives and clients are looking for.

Says Georgia: “I’m thrilled to join the Mint Films team. I’ve been fangirling their work for some time now and look forward to taking the reins from the incredible Abby while she is away on maternity leave. I’m excited to jump in, build new opportunities within our ever-evolving industry and continue to develop high quality work with the entire MINT crew.”

Says Matt Samperi, EP, Mint Films: “Whilst Abby is on maternity leave we are confident that Georgia, with her proactive and hard-working attitude, will help us draw connections with some really great people. We are excited to see where this relationship takes us.”

Georgia’s appointment further strengthens the production company’s mission of doing good work with good people.
