Manimal Post celebrates 10 years with epic anniversary bash, new studio and new staff

Boutique post-production studio Manimal Post recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in style. Much like the signature cocktails on offer across the night, the party was a perfect mix of Manimal’s infamous love of entertaining and keen eye for detail.

Folk from across the industry gathered to celebrate the studio’s milestone and to check out the brand new digs. It was also a chance to re-connect with friends and colleagues, graze on some delicious food and belt out a banger (or two) in the Karaoke room.

Revellers partied long into the night but the celebration was about much more than just tasty food and drink and good vibes. It was a reflection of the Manimal approach: blending exceptional attention to detail and precision with a love of entertaining, points of focus owners Kate Reynolds and Ryan Brett are excited to bring to the new space.

Nestled in the heart of Abbotsford, the new custom-designed space boasts three airy yet comfortable suites fully equipped for a top-to-tail post production experience. The large balcony with river-side views is a major feature of the new digs. The outdoor space offers the team and visiting clients a chance to get some fresh air and sunshine, an important reset in the creative process of a Post session for both clients and operators.

But the space isn’t the only thing that’s new for Manimal, with two new team members joining Reynolds and Brett, senior producer Hannah Byrnand and editor Emily Robb. Colorist and editor Denzil Heeger, who has worked on some of WA’s biggest TVC campaigns with leading WA post house Sandbox Productions, has moved across to further his passion for commercial and creative storytelling. Rounding out the crew is actor, writer and creative producer Andy Johnston who, after years in production producing and stints in front of the camera, has jumped into the world of post as client services and assistant producer.

Now six strong, Manimal Post is looking to the future with an unwavering commitment to delivering the best outcome for its clients and making sure everyone has fun while doing so. With its new state-of-the-art facilities, talented team and unparalleled dedication to craft, it’s clear that Manimal Post is the place to be.
