Magnum enlists celebrity stylist Deni Todorovic for new ‘Remix’ campaign via FORWARD Agency

To celebrate the launch of its new ‘Remix’ range, 30 years after the Classic Magnums arrived in Australia, Magnum has teamed up with fashion editor and content creator Deni Todorovic to remix three of the most iconic fashion moments from the 90s in a new campaign via FORWARD Agency.

 

Everyone loves a timeless classic, but classics are there to be remixed. By taking an iconic staple, much like a Classic Magnum, and putting an individual twist on it, Magnum is urging consumers to indulge in a new classic experience that is personal to them. An experience that is guaranteed never to go out of fashion.

An advocate for rewriting the rules and living an authentic life, Deni, together with Magnum, paid homage to three iconic looks from the 90s; Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), Madonna’s Vogue performance at the 1990 MTV awards, and Liz Hurley’s Versace Safety Pin dress from the 1994 Four Weddings and a Funeral Premiere.

Each look, synonymous with 90s pop culture, is personally remixed by Deni with a unique twist.

Says Todorovic of the collaboration: “As a stylist, this was such a fun brief to work with; taking iconic looks and remixing them for today. I love challenging conventions and mixing different styles to make a curated, personalised look, so the campaign resonated with me to my absolute core.

Todorovic adds that “while there were undoubtedly many iconic figures from the 90s to take inspiration from, each of the three empowering women chosen had one thing in common – they were ahead of their time. Once seen as provocative or bold, they have set the standard on what is looked back on and deemed ‘iconic’ or ‘classic’, creating their timeless look regardless of what others may think. This is a trend we’ll never see die.”

Magnum believes a day without pleasure is a day lost, and that everyone should be able to pursue what brings them pleasure, whatever that may be.

Says Andrea Almeida, Magnum spokesperson: “Working alongside Deni, this Remix campaign was particularly important for us, as it aims to contribute a little more individual freedom to the wonderfully diverse canvas of our society through remixing classic fashion looks from the 90s.”

The collaboration offers a fresh take on ice cream indulgence  by introducing three new flavours; Chocolate Classic Remix, Berry & White Chocolate Remix and Gold Almond Remix. In line with the remixed fashion icons, the heavenly trio is inspired by Magnum’s iconic classic range and remixed for extra indulgence.
