Melbourne agency The Reactor has announced the launch of its new brand work for Southern Alpine Resort Management Board’s Lake Mountain – Little Mountain, Big Day.
Lake Mountain is Melbourne’s closest Alpine Resort and is the ideal way to introduce beginners to the joys of Victoria’s alpine region in both the snow and green seasons.
Only a two-hour drive from the centre of the city, in the winter Lake Mountain is one of Australia’s premier cross-country skiing destinations. It is also a great place to take kids who’ve never seen snow before, with toboggan runs, snow play areas and the highly regard Burton Riglet junior snowboard program. Once the snow melts, the resort is a fantastic place for plenty of easy outdoor adventures like mountain biking and bushwalking.
Says Sandy McFeeters, general manager, Lake Mountain Alpine Resort: “The Reactor team have done an amazing job for us since we signed on. They have helped us to not only present a more cohesive, compelling and professional brand to the people of Melbourne, they have also worked with us to really understand what our organisation needs to succeed in a fast and affordable way.”
The Reactor’s creative director, Nick Brown, has found the location inspirational: “We all remember falling asleep in the back of the car coming home from a big day out with the family when we were kids. Lake Mountain is one of those places that makes it so easy for families and friends to have a really fun day together outdoors and we wanted to capture that feeling as part of this brand.”
Lake Mountain campaign and brand work is now live across social media, a new website and on the mountain itself, with everything from new signage across the resort to new trail maps and corporate communications.
