Indie agency Dig appoints Lucielle Vardy in the position of executive planning director

Dig has today announced the appointment of Lucielle Vardy to head up strategy for the agency as executive planning director.

This further strengthens the agency’s planning capability. The appointment is perfectly timed for the agency’s next level of growth and recent client wins.

Vardy has previously held senior roles at TBWA, Virgin, Mindshare, GPY&R, and most recently Naked/BMF. She has lead strategy on large scale consumer, B2B and social change campaigns both locally and internationally.

The appointment follows some recent high profile creative moves from multinational agencies to Dig such as ECD David Joubert, and the team of Anna Paine and Owen Bryson.

Says Paul Rhodes, CEO, Dig: “There are few senior planners in Australia that rival Lucielle’s experience across multiple disciplines and categories. It’s exciting for Dig and Indie agencies generally that clients now have access to the very best thinking without the churn and inefficiencies of a large agency. Our clients will love working with Lucielle and there’s no doubt we’ll make great work with her on board. We’re thrilled to have her join the team.”

Says Vardy: “The brilliant Dig team, and entrepreneurial agency style felt exactly right from the start. Dig is growing with really interesting clients and amazing talent on board. I feel privileged to be on the crew and to help shape what’s next.”

Dig is a full service creative agency with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, working with a range of leading brands including 3M, Australian Liquor Marketers, IGA Supermarkets, Snap Printing, Dulux, Mondelez, Ego Pharmaceuticals and a range of Government clients.
