Independent agency BEST. appoints Nicole Honig to the role of client experience director

Independent customer experience and retail transformation Agency BEST. has announced the appointment of Nicole Honig as client experience director, joining the team in March.

Having worked for various agencies, including Büro North and brand agency Cornwell, Honig has more than twenty years of industry experience.

The appointment will be invaluable to the agency’s growing client base.

Says Honig: “Joining the team at BEST is the perfect fit for me. It allows me to play to my strengths in marketing, wayfinding and user experience and to contribute creatively and strategically to the agency. There is certainly going to be some fun along the way with an intelligent, creative and future focussed team.”

Recently Honig has worked on customer-centred design projects including Sydney Central Station redevelopment for Sydney Metro and Transport for NSW, Melbourne Airport Major development projects and Point Nepean National Park.

As BEST continues to build its national client base, business director Janelle Toomey and founder and CEO Jacob Burke felt the timing for the appointment was perfect for the newly created role.

Says Toomey: “Having recently renewed several key contracts along with some new business wins, it was an ideal time to bring Nicole on board. Nicole is a key appointment and a valuable inclusion in our team. It is rare to find a skill set like Nicole’s in the market, as she strikes a perfect balance of experience across each of the four BEST business pillars.”

BEST business pillars include wayfinding and place-making, brand experience, architecture and interiors together with signage and multisite. The agency partners with clients Transport for New South Wales, Charter Hall, NSW Health, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, AGL, Rail Projects Victoria and Shaver Shop, amongst others.

BEST has created a unique place for itself in the market with the business bringing together four specialist brand and built environment services into one agency; where the majority of the market is not offering full end-to-end solutions.

Says Toomey: “Nicole, alongside our design director Clayton Edwards, will lead BEST’s experience design team, allowing Jacob and myself to focus on the continued growth of our business, organisational health and foster our JV partnerships in build and technology. I am excited for 2020 and beyond.”

Says Burke: “The decision to bring Nicole into our inner circle means that we now have a dedicated senior member focusing on delivering and fostering experiences for our clients. Nicole’s appointment is the first of many exciting announcements coming in 2020 for BEST – all part of our plan to continue Advocating for New and being the go-to experience agency in Australia. Watch this space!”
