Imagination Australia continues to expand its digital technology team, today announcing the appointment of Justine Marino as digital executive producer for its Sydney and Melbourne offices.
Marino is one of Australia’s digital pioneers, with an impressive career and experience spanning almost 20 years in the industry. Marino has led production teams at agencies such as Holler, McCann, The Brand Shop and Clear Blue Day over the years, as well as producing some of the country’s most impressive digital projects for brands including Coca Cola, Johnnie Walker, Blackmores, Subaru, CommSec, Telstra, Audi and Nestlé Australia.
Says Antony Gowthorp, managing director, Imagination Australia: “Our vision is to be Australia’s leading tech-led experience agency and Justine’s appointment is another step towards this goal. With technology advancing at such a rapid pace, we need our team to be the best in the market to ensure we continue to offer leading-edge creative solutions for our clients.”
Working closely with Imagination’s newly appointed executive creative director Chris James, Marino will focus on leading the Imagination digital production team, pushing boundaries to deliver innovative, tech-driven creative projects in the Australian market and also collaborating with Imagination colleagues globally.
Says Marino: “It was important to me that the next step I took in my career was aligned with my own vision of where Digital Technology in the marketing space was heading. Imagination’s pedigree and focus on creating truly immersive, connected experiences for brands and audiences is exactly the space I want to play. Some of the projects I’m being exposed to in this role are industry game-changers and I’m really excited to be leading this amazing team.”
