Gabberish #20: The Future Issue

Gabberish is celebrating its 20th issue-versary today, guest edited by Oli Nicholson, junior copywriter at M&C Saatchi and this year’s AWARD School winner.

The theme of this issue is The Future, with a special focus on AWARD School students from around the country giving us their insider perspective on completing the course under lockdown earlier this year, and what this means moving ahead in the industry.

Says Nicholson: “As we’re nearing the end of 2020 and tentatively getting ready for the new year, talking about the future felt like a no-brainer. Featuring insightful insights from creatively creative people, this Gabberissue dives into how we’re all coping with the terrifying and overwhelming unknown of what lies ahead. In a fun way!”

This issue also provides us with thought-provoking interviews and soundbites from creative director Rikki Burns, anonymous artist collective Heavy Duty, dynamic duo Lucas and Jack from Ogilvy, and more.

Nicholson adds: “My future self will look back on this issue fondly, and feel forever grateful to Jess and Siobhan for letting me guest edit. My future self will also probably cringe at this quote written by my present self.”
