Gabberish #18: The Inspiration Issue

Guest edited by Phoebe Sloane, copywriter at CHE Proximity, the 18th issue of Gabberish is out today.

This issue explores the theme of Inspiration, and features insightful interviews with founder and director of The Jacky Winter Group, Jeremy Wortsman, Australian pop musical duo Kllo and North Melbourne footballer and painter, Nick Larkey.

Says Sloane: “Gabberish has always provided me with delightful moments of escapism and I hope that we’ve continued that theme by going back to the very thing that helps us be creative—inspiration.”

The issue also includes some ‘inspired’ reading recommendations from Melbourne author and critic Brodie Lancaster, as well as an article from Vic AWARD School head Jess Wheeler about the ‘twitter war’ he created between 50 Cent and Ja Rule.

Says Sloane: “We’re all inspired in different ways: through traditional means such as books, TV and the internet, or through more unconventional methods—say, arguing with your creative partner, finding inspiration from your own shitty ideas… or perhaps seeking out something a little erotic.”
