FGMNT debuts multi platform virtual reality tool for advertising industry at Cannes Lions Festival

Screen Shot 2017-06-20 at 10.04.17 am.jpgAugmented and virtual reality specialists, FGMNT, has premiered its new VR web tool, Situ, at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Situ is set to redefine the way advertisers visualise their campaigns.

Situ is an immersive, web-based tool that enables clients, agencies and research companies to truly experience outdoor media before going live in the real world using virtual reality and 360-video content.

Launching in early August, Situ comes with an impressive global library of locations with 360 degree viewing, into which you can drag and drop your creative and give clients, advertisers and researchers the ability to virtually walk in the shoes of their target market.

Creative executions can be swapped out and compared in real-time, arming the user with the power to refine and improve campaigns like never before.

OOH company oOh!media will lead the charge as the first Australian media company to adopt Situ.

Publicis Melbourne, the creative minds behind the Situ concept, have been working closely with FGMNT to consult on the toolset for all agencies.

FGMNT is working with ‘best in breed’ hardware titans, GoPro, Blackmagic Design and CGANGS|VR to capture cutting edge 360-video content. The Situ library, is set to be one of the cornerstones of the product offerings.

Situ will be available for open Beta in July 2017 and then as a subscription service from early August. The tools feature set will be growing throughout 2017 and into early 2018, with many powerful tools being developed and released over that time.
