Fancy Films launches Fancy Fund, $150k towards reconciliation

Over the last 20 years Fancy Films has been helping purpose-driven organisations drive engagement. During this time, they have produced many pro bono videos for not-for-profits, who are doing incredible work. In order to expand the number of organisations it helps, Fancy Films created The Fancy Fund, an impact grants program, offering $150,000 in pro bono services to NFPs that need film work.

As a B Corp Fancy Films is committed to creating lasting impact by contributing to the conversation around the key themes of homelessness & disadvantage, inclusion & diversity, gender equality, Indigenous education, and cross-cultural awareness.

As part of its Innovate RAP, Fancy Films has announced a new initiative aimed at supporting not-for-profit organisations in creating impactful videos in the Indigenous space. Through its pro bono grants program, Fancy Films will produce engaging content that contributes to the conversations around reconciliation, driving positive social impact.

Says Keryn Nossal, managing director, Fancy Films: “These stories amplify voices, shed light on important issues and create social impact, that impact is paving the way for positive change. I couldn’t think of a better way to invest in our future.”

NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK
Be a Voice for Generations #NRW2023

National Reconciliation Week is a time for Australians to have important conversations that concern our shared history, culture and how each of us can work towards a better future. Fancy Films believes it is time to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Constitution through a Voice.
