Emily Bull’s Cannes Diary #4

Emily Bull, co-founder and managing director at Hellofuture.TV is representing Australia on the Cannes Entertainment Lions jury. Bull, along with most of the other Australian and NZ jurors writes exclusively for CB.

8 am start today, and a room of working solo on laptops across all categories as we refine and grade the shortlist, so we are ready for awarding gold, silver and bronze tomorrow.

There’s absolutely nothing more I’m allowed to say on my official Cannes work… (I’m under confidentiality.) and there’s only so much you can say about a darkened room and 16 laptops.

What I can tell you is that we finished early today at 3, and after strolling along the Croisette and marvelling at the insanity of building work that’s going into the development for next weeks Cannes Lions craziness we hopped in a car for Provence for the night. Because today is my 40th birthday!!! #livingmybestlife
