Domino’s has pulled off one of the great peace missions of our time, with the reunification of footy legends Paul Gallen and Nate Myles after their infamous State of Origin biff seven years ago. The campaign, created by Elevencom, features Gallen and Myles putting aside their differences to share a Domino’s Half ‘n’ Half pizza.

Says Allan Collins, chief marketing officer, Domino’s: “We believe nothing brings people together like Domino’s and getting these two famous rivals together is the latest proof of that.”

Collins said that now customers can split any large pizza for free, hundreds of Maroons and Blues supporters are expected to the come together in living rooms across Australia.

Jono McCauley, creative strategy director at Elevencom said the campaign was part of the creative transformation of the Domino’s brand under the new tagline: Bring It In: “The Bring It In campaign is all about demonstrating that pizza is the most sharable food on the planet and no-one delivers that experience better than Domino’s – especially at Origin time.”

The campaign of two commercials will run nationally in TV and digital channels.
