Says Cook: “I’m thrilled to be joining such a craft driven group of humans and am excited to be working with some of the industries best. As well as growing and developing talent locally, bringing Colliders roster of incredibly accomplished (and lovely) directors across the pond is hugely exciting.”

Collider also bolsters its roster with local Auckland director Ray Edwards. Edwards hails from a cinematography background having shot feature film Cousins and numerous commercial campaigns over the last 10 years. Edwards will be part of 2023 ‘Axis Speaks’  talking to his experience as a Māori filmmaker.

Says Edwards: “Coming from a world where I didn’t know that directing films was an actual job and stepping into this new environment with the Collider team, who put the art and the people first, is super exciting. Collider are a wonderful group of storytellers and I can’t wait to create and explore together.”

Says Rachael Ford-Davies, managing partner and executive producer, Collider: “The combination of Sarah’s creative ingenuity and experience with Ray’s unique visual style and comedic timing is a force to be reckoned with. The pair are already very much part of the Collider family and we are excited to see what they can accomplish together.”
