Clemenger Melbourne’s ‘Exceptions to the Rule’ recruitment program launches search for 2020

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s annual search for Australia’s best and brightest talent, it’s Exceptions to the Rule program, is now open for applications.

The paid program, now in its third year, aims to identify and nurture a different and diverse breed of talent that haven’t come through traditional education pathways.

Rather than focusing on qualifications, the criteria is focused on identifying newcomers to the industry that are unique characters, driven to make the work better, emotionally intelligent and ultimately, come armed with passion and curiosity.

The recruitment process is in two stages. The first being a series of questions that are assessed on depth and creativity, with the second stage being a group assessment task at the agency.

Says Gayle While, CEO, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne: “We are an industry that’s obsessively focused on making great work, and we know that diversity of thought is a significant contributor to that goal. Having the Exceptions program as part of our recruitment strategy is a wonderful way to broaden the scope of the talent that we attract and retain in our industry. We’re looking forward to having next year’s intake bring their exceptional talents to Clemenger BBDO.”

The Exceptions will begin their roles at the agency in 2020. Further information and application details at http://exceptions.clemenger.com.au.

All Exceptions are paid placements, with the first six weeks being training rotations followed by being placed in a department for the rest of the year.
