Clemenger BBDO Melbourne strengthens creative department with three new hires

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has announced that it has bolstered its creative department with the appointment of Huei Yin Wong as senior art director alongside Ellie Dunn and Tom Vizard as senior copywriters.

Wong joins from Ogilvy where she was responsible for work across a range of clients including AAMI, Mondelez and more. A practising artist, Wong’s project ‘Bleached Coral’ was picked up in over 30 countries and nominated for the Designs of the Year award in 2020 by the Design Museum of London, where it lives on in its permanent collection.

Dunn brings over a decade of experience to the role as she returns to Clemenger BBDO Melbourne following a stint at Leo Burnett, where her work for Bonds including its OUT NOW, Unplugged and Re-Loved campaigns drove recognition at a range of international award shows.

Joining from Thinkerbell, throughout his career Vizard has had the privilege of working with a range of iconic brands including Tourism Australia, Vegemite, Jeep and AFL where he led the league’s logo change in support of marriage equality. When he’s not working on iconic Australian brands, Vizard can be found tutoring AWARD school and producing short films.

Says Jim Curtis, executive creative director, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne: “Ryan, Rich and I couldn’t be more excited to have Huei, Ellie and Tom join the team. Each brings proven award-winning thinking, a truly diverse set of skills and a wonderfully irresponsible outlook towards what’s possible. Most importantly, each has the ambition to help lead where the agency is heading next.”
